Since its formation in 1985 by Keith Pallet, CoMech Metrology has worked tirelessly to become a leading and trusted provider of calibration services. Our roots are firmly established within the rail sector and today we service most of the train operators (TOCs) in the country. That’s based on our reputation for reliability, quality and service. And we’ve built on that over the years enabling us to expand our service offering and to broaden the sectors we supply UKAS calibration services to.
Based in the heart of the UK in Derby, traditionally the home of the UK rail industry, we are still family owned and run as a business. We operate from two sites; our head office is where our administrative operations are based and our purpose built electrical, pressure and MiniProf laboratories are. At our Pride Park base we also have a dedicated repair shop led by an experienced engineer who is committed to keeping assets running. Our second site is Derby based too and that houses our remaining laboratories including a dedicated torque wrench calibration laboratory which has undergone significant investment recently.
