About the role:

We are searching for an experienced and self motivated Field Engineer with a ‘can do’ attitude who is looking to be part of our amazing team.

This is a hands-on customer facing role, we are seeking the right person to maintain our high standards and impeccable reputation. The role will involve the service and calibration of instruments at fixed locations nationwide.

This role enjoys a high degree of autonomy but also requires close collaboration with other stakeholder teams who are dedicated to making a difference.  Out in the field visiting customer sites will require good people skills to deliver a first class service to our valued clients. You will also need to be a good fit with our team culture and company values.

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies.

  • Qualification in SPA / CSCS / Sentinel is desirable but not essential
  • IT Literate and experienced user of Microsoft office products
  • Proven relevant experience in a field service role

Job Description

Responsible for the safe, efficient and compliant calibration of equipment and inspection services at customer sites.

  • Service and calibration of instruments in accordance with quality management system
  • Follow process for accurate recording of job information at different stages of the calibration process in accordance with Quality system requirements
  • Ensure correct health and safety requirements are adhered to
  • Ensure reports are submitted in a timely manner, which are concise and accurate
  • Ensure all compliance requirements are met
  • Responsible for ensuring correct and calibrated equipment is allocated for each job
  • Liaise with relevant internal departments and external suppliers
  • Train and mentor Trainee Technicians
  • Understand the business needs of the customer and respond appropriately
  • Must be prepared to adapt to all types of environments and comply with local clients health and safety regulations
  • Must be prepared to learn a diverse set of products from different brands to continually improve product knowledge
  • Be willing to cooperate by working overtime as and when required

Person Specification

  • Must hold full UK driving licence
