CoMech to Supply New Norbar Torque Checkers to the Rail Industry

Posted on 4th July 2019

The innovative range of instruments are specifically made for checking torque wrenches with a range of 10-1,100 Nm (dependent on model). The new TruCheck™ units will replace the existing models to offer users three modes of operation (click, dial and track), a micro USB port and much more.

If you’re working with torque daily, you’ll understand how important it is to ensure that your recorded measurements are always correct. This new phase of torque checkers form part of the next stage for innovative and technical capabilities surrounding torque within various industries. The new range of instruments help keep torque wrenches in optimum condition by monitoring their performance. Users can set the required targets and tolerances with total ease.

There are two types of each torque checker soon to be available. The base model has limited settable options, making it the ideal choice for non-experts in the torque field. The other choice is the more advanced Plus models, allows a selection of torque units and the ability to store up to 15 targets. Colour-changing display on the LCD screen shows users the clear target indication, whether the results are within, below or above the set tolerance.

Each model supplied will include a traceable calibration certificate.
