We proudly displayed CoMech’s name amongst big industry names such as Siemens, Alstom, CRRC and many more
We are very pleased to announce that the event was a huge success for CoMech Metrology. As new exhibitors at Railtex, we were unsure as to how our company and our products would be received by other professionals within the rail industry. However, visitors were drawn to our stand for our asset management system TrackRecordPro and Greenwood Engineering’s MiniProf profile measuring instruments.
The days consisted of a part of CoMech’s team being on hand to explain to visitors and fellow exhibitors what we do, how we can benefit them and having a general chat. Our IT Manager Craig happily demonstrated TrackRecordPro, while our Technical Development Engineer Hannah showcased the MiniProf Rail and Wheel instruments’ capabilities.
Whilst at Railtex, we couldn’t help but be intrigued to see what other exhibitors were showing off. For example, we couldn’t tear ourselves away from CRRC’s model trains, while IMI Precision Engineering had a fabulous steam-powered motorbike on display to show their hopes in beating the land speed record. We are always on the lookout for new technology and innovations and Railtex did not fail to impress. We particularly noted that a recurring theme within Railtex was VR technology and how it can (and has) been utilised within the industry. We are very much looking forward to appreciating how technology has changed and what other industry leaders will be showing at Railtex in two years’ time.
Greenwood Engineering's MiniProf Wheel instrument was a hit with visitors, while our TrackRecordPro asset management software sparked a great amount of interest.
We would like to thank everyone who took the time out of their day to visit us at Railtex this year. The roaring success has cemented our confidence within the rail industry, and we are very much looking forward to exhibiting at Railtex in 2021.
Please note, the competition winner for the experience day prize will be contacted in due course.
